Endless waiting leads to frustration and disconnected calls

I wasted an entire morning stuck on hold - after waiting for 4 grueling hours, my call abruptly dropped! I'm utterly astounded that in our modern era, businesses can continue to provide such appalling and unacceptable customer service. They ought to be thoroughly embarrassed. Once more today, I attempted to schedule an appointment, and after languishing in the queue for 60 minutes, I was just 2 spots from being served when the line disconnected. Now I'm back in the queue, positioned 10th in line. It's truly dismaying how far the NHS has deteriorated.
