I have been with this medical practice for nearly two years, and my overall experience has been excellent. Securing next-day appointments with the general practitioner is relatively straightforward, with doctors consistently returning calls around 90% of the time the following morning. After discussing health concerns via telephone, patients can subsequently visit the clinic that same day. The online appointment form allows patients to describe their symptoms comprehensively, which facilitates smoother consultations with minimal communication barriers. Nurse appointments cannot be booked on the same or next day due to staff limitations and scheduling pressures, necessitating advance booking. Dr. Elizabeth and Fleming demonstrate exceptional compassion, treating patients with genuine respect and actively listening. Unlike some practitioners who compartmentalize issues, these doctors are willing to address multiple health concerns during a single consultation, providing quality time and comprehensive care. The nursing staff, particularly Allison and her team, have been consistently supportive. The reception team has also been consistently welcoming and professional. From my personal perspective, there are some areas with potential improvement. The practice's digital booking system might be challenging for older patients less comfortable with technology, with reception strongly emphasizing online form submissions. The prescription signing process appears somewhat cumbersome, and it could be beneficial if nurses were authorized to prescribe routine items like dressings (potentially subject to NHS regulations). To enhance healthcare services and patient experience, increasing patient communication channels would be advantageous. Improved patient engagement typically results in higher satisfaction levels and positive recommendations for the medical practice.
