Fast appointment booking but notes weren't reviewed

The appointment booking system functioned efficiently and I was pleased to receive an appointment promptly. However, it appeared that when I attended my consultation, the clinician had not reviewed my detailed written submission explaining the reason for my visit, which meant I needed to repeat the information I had already provided online. I was also disappointed to discover that the surgery had made a general referral to the neurology department at the hospital without specifically requesting the follow-up imaging scan that my privately-seen neurologist had recommended following an appointment in April. My neurologist had suggested a wait of approximately two months for this scan through the NHS, but I have now been waiting considerably longer than this timeframe. I remain concerned about this extended delay, particularly given my continuing symptoms and lack of progress, though I am grateful that the clinician has offered to contact the hospital to specifically request the imaging appointment and ensure the results are shared with my neurologist, whom I plan to consult privately again.
