Felt dismissed and not properly listened to

I have taken time to reflect before sharing this feedback. I attended appointments with my elderly relative on multiple occasions as his health was declining. I felt that neither I nor my relative were given proper consideration during these visits, with responses that seemed dismissive based on age-related assumptions. My relative passed away shortly after a significant birthday, and I believe an underlying nutritional deficiency may have contributed to his health decline and subsequent fall. I noticed that once admitted to hospital, the care approach changed significantly. I have concerns about whether preventative care and compassionate listening are being prioritised in general practice. I also experienced a similar situation at another medical centre with a family member, where I felt a medical condition was not identified appropriately.
