Felt unheard and prescribed same ineffective medication

I had been experiencing issues with my menstrual cycle and was given a medication that proved ineffective for my situation. I scheduled a follow-up appointment with a different clinician, hoping for a different approach. During the consultation, I felt that my concerns were not being properly heard and that there was a lack of genuine engagement with what I was trying to communicate. When I later collected my prescription, I discovered that I had been prescribed the same medication that had already failed to help me, which was the primary reason for my visit. The appointment felt unproductive and frustrating.
