Friendly staff let down by one rude receptionist

I have to say I've always had a pleasant experience here. Several members of staff have been phenomenal, one clinician provides what I'd call industry average patient treatment, the facility is clean and easy to access. The reception team have been helpful whenever I've called or visited previously. Why 1 star? Well, during a recent visit, a receptionist I hadn't encountered before was incredibly rude with an almost aggressive demeanour whilst speaking to me. I have to highlight she was only this way with me and not with other patients, and looked at me with what felt like disgust from the moment she saw me. I'm not sure why, as she wasn't in a bad mood generally because she was friendly to the patient who came in right after me. The differences in how I was treated compared to others were puzzling and left me feeling uncomfortable. I was totally perplexed by why she seemed to regard me with such disdain and confusion before I'd even approached the desk. I have to highlight that for me the GP surgery is otherwise 5 star; the 1 star is specifically for this receptionist's conduct. She should really reflect on the impression she gives to patients. I am not joking when I say her demeanour made me feel unwelcome, and she doesn't even know me. It's a very odd experience. It's not difficult to smile and show kindness to patients using your facility, especially when they're not there to see you but a clinician. Don't ruin people's experiences of using healthcare services because you do not know how difficult it is for some to access said services in the first place. Don't be a barrier to that.
