Frustrated patient seeking proper medical care now

I'm utterly frustrated that I was simply advised to purchase ibuprofen gel for my persistent pain, with no proper medical investigation into the underlying cause. The pain medication I've been prescribed is ineffective, and I'm deeply concerned. Two weeks ago, the nurse practitioner conducted only a cursory visual examination, checked my elevated blood pressure, and briefly assessed my joints for inflammation. She then prescribed over-the-counter medication, which I subsequently returned. Fortunately, Emma was incredibly helpful and assisted me in changing the prescription. I don't fault the reception staff, as they're following doctors' instructions, but I'm appalled that no doctor will see me to properly diagnose my condition, especially when I'm in such intense, debilitating pain. I've officially filed a complaint and am now actively seeking to transfer to a different medical practice that will take my health concerns seriously.
