Frustrated patient struggles with unresponsive doctor

Right now, I'm waiting for a call from my GP, which was scheduled for 8.00am this morning. He did phone at 12.30, but didn't allow me enough time to answer, given my mobility challenges. It's now 4.45pm, and I've called the surgery twice, keeping my phone with me constantly, even taking it to the bathroom! What sort of system are we dealing with!!!! If this were any other service, I would demand compensation for such poor treatment, especially considering I've contributed to the NHS throughout my entire life. The physician at this practice is clearly unsuited to his profession, demonstrating a complete lack of patient care. While I recognize they are under pressure, a doctor's fundamental role should be showing consideration, empathy, and genuine concern for their patients, regardless of circumstances. This medical practice falls significantly below acceptable standards.
