Frustrated with nurse's false call claims

I recently joined this medical practice and sought an appointment after experiencing persistent coughing. I was assigned to Doctor Ceesay, who was thorough and supportive, conducting a comprehensive examination and ordering blood and X-ray tests. When I contacted reception to schedule a follow-up consultation to discuss the results, I was unexpectedly informed that a nurse would call me instead of arranging a direct doctor's appointment, which they classified as a routine follow-up. Reluctantly, I accepted and was scheduled for a phone consultation on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, between 12:15 PM and 3:15 PM. During the designated time, no call was received. Instead, at 12:29 PM, I got a text from a nurse claiming she had attempted to call me four times without success—a statement I found completely untrue. Frustrated, I visited the surgery and spoke with a receptionist, demonstrating on my phone that no calls had been made. We verified my contact details, and I questioned why the nurse, Sister Melgie Tuason-Bobby, was making false claims. The receptionist seemed unable to provide any explanation, merely offering to reschedule another phone appointment. I declined, stating that without seeing the doctor, I was uninterested in another nurse consultation. Feeling angry and disappointed, I left contemplating changing medical practices, as the staff's dishonesty and unprofessionalism had severely undermined my trust in their service.
