Frustrating and inefficient medical appointment nightmare

I experienced absolutely abysmal customer service and zero assistance! After enduring over 10 minutes waiting on hold, I was informed that the medical practice was 'unable' to schedule patient appointments, and was directed to complete a triage form on their website. However, I was simultaneously told that this online system was currently non-functional for patients and advised to attempt access again the following day. When I requested the specific website address, I was dismissively told to simply search for it on Google! How unnecessarily complicated and frustrating should booking a simple medical appointment be? How deliberately unhelpful and bureaucratic can a healthcare practice's appointment procedures and systems possibly become?
