Frustrating and unhelpful medical office experience

I was instructed during my consultation to schedule an appointment at the front desk, as they apparently handle one inquiry at a time. Upon reaching the reception, the staff member was extremely unpleasant, insisting I could only book via phone between 8-9 AM, despite the doctor just moments earlier telling me I could arrange it right there. Now, after reviewing feedback from Blackfriars, I've discovered you actually accept appointment requests through multiple channels like email and online platforms all day long. So why was I turned away and not provided proper guidance? Additionally, I completed a contact request form on the website, and surprisingly, no one ever reached out to me.
