Frustrating appointment system and poor service

I recently attempted to schedule an appointment, having previously informed the practice of my temporary relocation. Despite my efforts to pre-book, I encountered significant difficulties. Upon calling at 8:20 AM as instructed, I found the queue already full, confirming my earlier concerns. The practice's revised booking policy, implemented without patient consultation, appears to cater to a minority rather than the majority's needs. When I requested to speak with a senior staff member, I was told they were unavailable. In a previous interaction, a receptionist had been able to assist me with the NHS app, but I had to remind this particular staff member of this option. The receptionists often seem to adopt a defensive stance, which is frustrating given the impractical nature of the surgery's policies. Overall, the level of patient service is deeply unsatisfactory, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a patient.
