Frustrating appointment system ruins patient experience

Scheduling a doctor's visit has become incredibly frustrating. Every time I call, I'm either told my physician isn't available on my preferred days or the clinic is completely full. I miss the days when booking an appointment in advance was simple. The current system is absurd, and I'm particularly annoyed by the receptionist's invasive questioning about the reason for my medical consultation. Since when did administrative staff start interrogating patients about their medical needs? Patient privacy and confidentiality seem to have been completely disregarded. They're not medical professionals, so they shouldn't be prying into my personal health matters.
