Frustrating appointments and unhelpful booking system

The surgery is decent enough, but securing an appointment is incredibly challenging. Their booking system requires calling at 8:30 am, where you're typically 20+ in the queue, only to discover all slots are already taken! There's no option to pre-book, forcing you to call daily... I spent two weeks trying to get an appointment, which ultimately discouraged me from calling altogether. Most consultations are conducted via telephone, making face-to-face meetings quite difficult. The interior of the surgery is acceptable and has recently been expanded, though I'm uncertain whether this means an increase in medical staff. Parking is conveniently free in the front area, with good wheelchair accessibility and a pharmacy located right next to the surgery. The receptionists come across as somewhat brusque. Obtaining test results is a time-consuming process, and their recommended online platform is so complicated to register and log into that I eventually gave up trying. It's disheartening to see how the NHS has transformed; the days of a welcoming, patient-friendly doctor's surgery seem to have disappeared.
