Frustrating bandage removal nightmare

The phone signal is terrible, with calls dropping abruptly as if the other person has disconnected. I attempted to schedule an appointment for a nurse to remove a post-surgical bandage, only to be informed of a two-week waiting period. I even suggested I could remove the bandage myself, as it seemed straightforward. Instead, I was directed to the hospital's accident and emergency department, which feels unnecessarily complicated. So now I'm heading to A&E, where I fully expect staff to question why I'm there rather than seeing my local GP.
