Frustrating delay in medical care and diagnosis

I was informed back in July that a comprehensive MRI scan would be recommended, yet here we are at the end of October, and I've just discovered that no referral has even been initiated. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I switched medical practices because my previous doctor failed to address my concerns, and now it appears this new surgery is equally dismissive. I am prepared to escalate this matter, as my inability to work and secure appropriate benefits stems directly from the GP's reluctance to provide a definitive diagnosis for my ongoing health problems.
