Frustrating delay in medical communication and care

Received a phone consultation on Friday, June 20th, supposedly from a physician but actually conducted by a nurse. I was informed that an X-ray for my neck and shoulder would be scheduled. (On Sunday, June 22nd, I suffered a severe fall, landing on my back and striking the back of my head) By Tuesday, July 1st, I had received no update. I returned to the medical practice and consulted with a courteous Receptionist. It was revealed that the referral form remains unsigned by the Doctor! I find this level of service completely unacceptable and deeply frustrating!
