Frustrating experience with medical centre communication

I deliberated before writing this review to share my experience with seeking medical advice from this centre. As someone who rarely visits the GP due to generally good health, I was unprepared for the anxiety of trying to schedule an appointment to discuss my concerning hospital test results. Navigating the medical system without a healthcare background is incredibly stressful, especially when facing potentially serious health issues. The Evergreen app was unfamiliar to me, and I would have preferred speaking directly with a receptionist. However, she directed me to use the app instead, leaving me uncertain about whether I booked the appointment correctly. While I recognize the receptionist likely handles numerous calls daily, I simply wanted reassurance about scheduling the right type of appointment. During my hospital visit, I learned I might be facing a potentially life-threatening condition based on my blood work. My GP received the referral letter and attempted to contact me, but my teaching job prevents me from answering phone calls during work hours, as mobile phones are not permitted in classrooms. I feel like a worried patient desperately seeking medical guidance. As someone who rarely needs medical attention, I'm unsure if these communication challenges are typical of modern healthcare or specific to this centre. My hope is that I can successfully use the Evergreen app or find a more accessible GP practice. I'm simply seeking the support and clarity needed to address my health concerns.
