Frustrating experience with unhelpful medical reception

After struggling for 20 minutes to secure an appointment yesterday morning, I was informed all slots were filled, which left me frustrated, especially since I wasn't feeling well. The receptionist's dismissive comment about children being off school implied I might not see a doctor for weeks. When suggesting I go elsewhere, her attitude hardly demonstrated good customer service. Eventually, she said she would consult the doctor and call me back, but instead, I had to initiate contact, which involved another lengthy wait. Finally, the doctor called me, requested I come in, and provided a prescription - confirming I was indeed unwell. I contemplated filing a complaint with the practice manager but doubted it would yield any results. While most receptionists are pleasant and the doctor is excellent, the administrative handling was poor. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this medical practice to anyone.
