Frustrating first visit to a gp practice

My initial visit to this medical practice was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was completely unaware of the self-check-in system and waited in the reception line, believing I was following the correct protocol. When I finally reached the front, the receptionist curtly informed me that I was too late to be seen, despite having already spent considerable time queuing. After being advised to wait and see if the doctor might still accommodate me, I sat for more than half an hour, only to ultimately be told I would not be seen that day. The communication was incredibly poor, and the staff's attitude made me feel completely marginalized and unwelcome. As a first-time patient, this experience was deeply discouraging. A bit of clarity about the check-in process and a more empathetic approach from the staff could have dramatically improved the situation. Medical facilities should prioritize treating patients with dignity and understanding, particularly when individuals are seeking healthcare support.
