Frustrating GP Consultation System Delays Care

I recognize that the National Health Service is experiencing staffing challenges, but at a general practice, I anticipate a more efficient method of communicating with your doctor. The e-consultation platform is unreliable, frequently malfunctioning precisely when you need it most, and often redirects you to submit your request the following day. This leads to completing an extensive questionnaire, after which you're scheduled for a GP callback, involving another protracted waiting period. Furthermore, consultant letters are not being properly integrated into the medical system, leaving your GP uninformed about recommended conditions and treatments. This approach seems to be unnecessarily complicating the process of securing a medical consultation. The GPs themselves claim they aren't overwhelmed, so the prolonged waiting times are difficult to justify.
