Frustrating health journey with helpful reception staff

Visited the medical clinic on Friday due to another chest infection. Dr. Fatima examined me and prescribed a rescue pack. I felt extremely unwell over the weekend with these different antibiotics, which seem stronger than my usual medication, likely because of my previous pneumonia in October. I called the surgery this morning to discuss how I was feeling, only to wait four hours for a doctor's response telling me to stop taking the medication after only consuming 7 out of 21 tablets. Isn't a full course typically recommended? The doctor suggested calling back if I don't improve in a few days. I'm now awaiting another call, as I've informed the reception that I understand my body and need antibiotics. I'm not improving and fear my condition will worsen. While I'm currently waiting for the reception to call back, I must emphasize that the reception staff have been incredibly supportive in trying to help me. It's frustrating that I've been struggling to secure appointments for various health concerns, but today, the reception team has been absolutely fantastic in helping me navigate my medication issues.
