Frustrating healthcare experience leaves patient in pain

I exhausted my pain medication supply 3 days ago and proactively visited my physician beforehand to request a refill. Today, 72 hours later, I called to follow up on the matter, only to be informed that nothing has been resolved. When I requested to speak with a doctor or schedule an appointment, I was curtly told no appointments were available. I am extremely dissatisfied with this treatment and level of care.
