Frustrating healthcare experience with poor appointment system

The appointment scheduling process is outdated and frustrating. Patients must start dialing at 8am and repeatedly redial around 50 times just to secure a slot. Consistently, when requesting a specific general practitioner, I'm redirected to a nurse, which necessitates rebooking another appointment. This has occurred multiple times. Given my demanding professional commitments, these repeated complications significantly disrupt my schedule. The entire experience is so discouraging that I actively avoid calling when unwell, feeling both unwelcome and exhausted by the persistent systemic failures.
