Frustrating healthcare experience with poor communication

I'm thoroughly disheartened by the subpar service and complete absence of proper communication. A referral was provided for me to forward to my primary care physician about a condition that significantly impacts my everyday functioning. After waiting for three weeks, I still have no progress to report. When I inquired today, I discovered the referral hadn't even been transmitted. Such prolonged delays and poor responsiveness are absolutely unacceptable, particularly when medical issues are involved. I anticipated a higher standard of professional care and fundamental operational competence from a healthcare provider.
