Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful staff

I've been struggling to secure a consultation with my primary care physician, and it seems my health concerns are being dismissed since they're not deemed urgent. It appears they only pay attention when you're practically at death's door. On Monday, I was told to retry later in the week, and when I called back the following day, I was informed the doctor wasn't even working that day - information that could have been shared during my initial contact, sparing me unnecessary hassle and irritation. The lack of clarity and consistency from the reception staff is deeply troubling, especially considering they are the first interaction point for patients who may already be experiencing discomfort and anxiety. I'm astonished that this practice continues to operate and receive taxpayer-funded government support while demonstrating such substandard service. They need to significantly improve their approach to patient care.
