Frustrating healthcare experience with zero support

On February 7th at 9am, I struggled to secure an appointment through Anima and contacted 111, who directed me to speak with doctors. After being placed in triage, I waited a staggering 7 hours before reception finally called, advising me to visit the nearest hospital for an out-of-hours consultation. My entire day was consumed by this frustrating process. Without a vehicle and facing prohibitively expensive taxi costs, I had no feasible way to reach the hospital. Shockingly, no healthcare professional even bothered to discuss the practicality of my situation. This level of service is completely unacceptable! I shudder to think how such treatment might impact an elderly patient. Fortunately, I was able to resolve my medical concern through my private Bupa healthcare provider. When a patient is triaged, they deserve genuine attention and consideration from a doctor!
