Frustrating healthcare queue with no pre-booked appointments

It's early morning, and I'm waiting in line as number 44! I can manage with a delayed appointment since my condition isn't critical, but I've been advised to consult the GP during a medical flare-up. The medical practice stubbornly refuses to offer advance booking, forcing me to call daily as an "emergency" patient. This approach seems fundamentally unfair, as my daily calls could potentially prevent someone with a genuine urgent medical need from securing timely care. I've attempted to explain my unique circumstances to the reception staff, but they remain completely indifferent. Their only suggestion is for me to contact 111 if I require medical attention 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ - completely misunderstanding the nuances of my situation!
