Frustrating healthcare system fails patient urgently

I attempted to schedule a consultation regarding a concerning mole that urgently needs my doctor's professional evaluation, only to be informed that the next available routine appointment is six weeks away. Alternatively, an unqualified receptionist suggested I visit a walk-in centre, which is manifestly an improper utilization of NHS resources. Such practices inevitably contribute to treatment delays and potentially compromise patient care. There is an urgent need for a more effective patient triage system that prioritizes timely medical assessments.
