Frustrating healthcare system leaves patient desperate and unheard

Attempting to schedule a medical consultation has become an exercise in frustration. The clinic's approach requires calling at 8am on the day, which means potentially wasting time waiting on hold while surrounded by noisy school children on a bus. It's simply not feasible for working individuals who can't spontaneously take time off or abandon their shift. While I recognize COVID-19 remains a challenge, being told that doctors are absent due to the virus doesn't justify such an inefficient appointment system. Those of us with structured work commitments need a more reliable and considerate method of accessing healthcare.
