The online portal still showed "closed" status, contradicting the advertised opening time. This explains the struggle many face in seeking medical attention. The practice seems overwhelmed, potentially neglecting patients. At 8:06 AM, six minutes past the supposed opening time, an automated message abruptly ended the call, citing busy lines. We're advised to call at 8 AM sharp, but by the time one reaches the counter, all slots are filled. Later calls result in instructions to try again the next day at 8 AM, creating a cycle of frustration and inaccessibility. This situation likely contributes to overcrowding at A&E and walk-in centers. Even the hubs are unresponsive when at capacity. One must question how this aligns with the goal of saving A&E and, ultimately, lives.
