Frustrating medical care with zero personal attention

Over the past five years, despite anticipating a surgical procedure, I've never actually encountered the surgeon face-to-face. My interactions have been limited to phone consultations where I'm expected to verbally explain my symptoms, without ever receiving an in-person physical assessment. When the pain became unbearable, I was compelled to contact the 111 service and visit an out-of-hours medical facility, which subsequently emailed Oakwood recommending urgent medical intervention. However, no follow-up materialized. Additionally, prescriptions prescribed via telephone have consistently failed to be processed at the pharmacy. The entire medical journey has been thoroughly unsatisfactory and frustratingly inadequate.
