Frustrating medical journey with poor communication

The front desk staff were surprisingly supportive. However, the doctor conveniently "overlooked" my referral despite my repeated inquiries. I was left to pursue my own referral, and to date, I still haven't secured a specialist appointment. If the doctor had simply performed his duties correctly, I might have seen improvement by now. It took months of persistence and a formal complaint before the referral was sent, only to be denied due to insufficient medical details. Predictably, the practice didn't volunteer this information - I had to dig it out myself. Such a lack of professionalism is deeply concerning; we're talking about human health, not some casual online transaction.
