Frustrating medical nightmare with zero patient support

I've been attempting to schedule an antidepressant medication review for more than a week. Currently, I'm without my medication and cannot be prescribed a refill until the review is completed. On Monday the 5th, I tried to book an appointment, but the doctor called while I was working, making it impossible to answer. When I called back on Wednesday, no appointments were available. Friday, I received a message to contact the practice, which I did immediately after work at 5pm. I explained to the receptionist that my 9-5 work schedule prevents phone access, and she assured me she'd book me for 5:20pm on Tuesday. Tuesday arrived, and the doctor called me at 1:30pm and 3:30pm - times I'd explicitly stated I couldn't answer - and rang my landlines, knowing full well I was at work. At 5:20pm, no call came, leaving me absolutely furious. I rang the surgery and was left on hold for 46 minutes before giving up in frustration. I've called EVERY SINGLE day seeking another appointment, constantly being told to try again tomorrow, while my medication supply steadily decreases. I've now been without antidepressants for 3 days. Fortunately, this isn't life-critical medication. This morning, I called the practice FORTY-FIVE times. Eventually getting through, I attempted to schedule a post-work appointment when I'm available. The receptionist informed me they don't offer appointments after 5pm, contradicting last week's booking. She suggested Tuesday, which would mean a week without medication. This practice is completely disorganized. The merger with Harwood Close was a mistake - you're overwhelmed with patients for your operating hours. I'll definitely be seeking a new medical practice.
