Frustrating medical service with unhelpful staff

I'm completely perplexed by Bishopgate medical, to be frank. I attempted to arrange a GP consultation via phone recently to obtain a fit note for work absence (which should be straightforward given my comprehensive medical history of mental and physical conditions), only to be met with an incredibly dismissive and discourteous receptionist who curtly stated, "you'll need to call back at 2pm for that." After spending hours unsuccessfully trying to connect, I called again today and was informed a doctor would contact me at 2:30pm. While this sounds promising, the entire experience has been bewilderingly inconsistent. The varying information from different staff members seems indicative of pure negligence. Having personally worked in customer service, I know such unprofessional communication would have resulted in serious reprimands. My message to Bishopgate staff is clear: many of you are exceptional professionals whom I deeply appreciate and respect. However, some staff members display a frustrating attitude of laziness and arrogance, seemingly unwilling to perform their responsibilities competently. Those individuals urgently need to reassess their approach and professional conduct.
