Frustrating morning waiting for medical appointment

I attempted to call at 8am and was left waiting until 8:04, then placed on hold for an additional 3-4 minutes, only to be informed that no appointments were available until the next day. The staff advised me to call back tomorrow morning, which is precisely what I had already done today. Despite the frustrating situation, the receptionist was genuinely sorry and I recognize they are striving to manage under challenging conditions. However, it's evident that the current booking system is fundamentally flawed and requires immediate attention and restructuring.
