Frustrating nhs experience leaves patient in pain

I requested time away from my job to undergo a blood test, and was penalized simply for being 10 minutes late. The receptionist was completely uncooperative and unwilling to assist me. It's truly disappointing, especially considering I'm dealing with a leg condition causing significant pain that impairs my mobility. My scheduled appointment was specifically for today, 03/28/2024, as directed by my doctor. This situation is absolutely infuriating - the healthcare system in this country is rapidly deteriorating. I've been waiting in the queue for my surgical procedure for an entire year, and absolutely zero progress has been made. Thanks a lot, NHS!!! We pay our taxes diligently only to receive the most substandard medical service imaginable.
