Doctors can vary in their approach, with some being exceptional, which is why I seek them out repeatedly. However, the receptionists seem more interested in gossip and prying into matters concerning other doctors, which is entirely inappropriate. Their unnecessary questioning and information-seeking are not part of their professional responsibilities. The facility is in complete disarray. Staff appear confused about basic scheduling, and there's a notable lack of professionalism, particularly towards patients with limited English language skills - something I've personally observed. Securing an appointment is challenging, and once obtained, patients are routinely left waiting 30 to 45 minutes. The staff seem indifferent to patients' urgency, yet quick to dismiss those arriving slightly late. Healthcare professionals in an NHS setting have customer-facing roles that demand excellent service, whether they're receptionists, doctors, or nurses. Unfortunately, this standard is completely absent here. Respect and basic kindness seem foreign concepts. The management should invest in better staff training or recruitment, as the NHS is capable of significantly higher standards. Some staff members, like Dr. Sohota and nurse Kate, are truly exceptional and likely the primary reason patients continue to return. I've experienced the self-service computers' persistent malfunction, which the receptionists are fully aware of, yet they watch patients struggle without offering assistance. A simple "I'm sorry, let me help you check in" would make a world of difference. If staff members are unhappy in their roles, they should seek alternative employment rather than spreading negativity throughout the workplace.
