Frustrating online booking for sick child

Is this medical care truly this inadequate? My son has been battling a fever for four consecutive days, most likely due to tonsillitis. When I attempted to schedule an appointment, I was directed to book online instead of speaking with the reception staff. What purpose does the front desk even serve? For individuals with limited English proficiency, navigating an online booking system is incredibly challenging. I'm already experiencing significant anxiety about my child's health. I feel completely powerless and uncertain about when we might actually secure a doctor's consultation, even after attempting to schedule online. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable and deeply frustrating.
