Frustrating phone experience at local medical practice

Terrible telephone service, even with the call-back option. Rang Herne and Broomfield surgery at 8 AM and was initially informed I was third in the queue. Regrettably, after waiting over a quarter of an hour and incurring call charges, no one picked up the line. Absolutely no explanation was provided. Growing increasingly frustrated with the endless struggle to secure a medical appointment. The staff appear to be doing their utmost, but the system seems completely overwhelmed.
