Frustrating phone queue at medical practice nightmare

I'm perplexed by the phone system at this medical practice! While waiting with my daughter for our scheduled visit, the front desk staff were engaged in conversation at 8:15 am. Out of intrigue, I called the contact number and discovered I was 11th in line. (It seems even calling at 8:00 am puts you around 20th in the queue.) The entire process is completely incomprehensible to me. As a healthcare professional myself, I'm acutely aware of workplace pressures. I understand bookings are now managed through Anima, but I'm genuinely concerned about how the call queue progresses when no one appears to be answering calls or if there's some external call center handling inquiries!!!
