Frustrating Phone Service During Covid Lockdown

The medical staff here are excellent, but communication has become a nightmare since COVID-19 hit. The standard interactive phone menu has disappeared, leaving patients with a system that simply rings endlessly before disconnecting. I've attempted to reach out via email, yet my messages have been met with complete silence. The lack of responsiveness is incredibly frustrating - what could possibly be causing such a breakdown in basic communication?
