Frustrating phone system and website for patients

Since the surgery's phone number changed several months ago, reaching anyone has become extremely challenging. Previously, patients had to wait in lengthy queues (sometimes exceeding 50 people), though they could hang up and maintain their place in line. Currently, calling often results in a recorded message stating "we are experiencing high call volumes, please call back later!" The recently introduced website is incredibly user-unfriendly, making appointment booking and repeat prescription ordering nearly impossible. Last week, I was forced to visit the surgery in person because I couldn't figure out how to request a repeat prescription. When I attempted to call, there was no option available for prescription orders. Moving forward, I'll apparently need to physically go to the surgery and use the prescription postbox. I urge you to review your service with consideration for the elderly and most vulnerable individuals. Thank you. My heart goes out to older patients, many of whom lack internet access - how are they supposed to schedule appointments?
