Frustrating phone system wastes precious patient time

The appointment phone system is completely unacceptable. Multiple times, I've been first in line, yet waiting 30 to 60 minutes for a response! They claim to start taking calls at 8am, but I can't comprehend why it takes such an extended period to address the initial caller. Getting through to them via telephone is essentially futile, and the whole experience is utterly absurd!
