Frustrating reception experience with unhelpful staff

The receptionist today seems completely clueless about her job. She called me back and informed me that no appointments are available, so I'll be placed on hold and returned to the queue, or I can book online. I explained that I had already tried booking 20 minutes earlier with no success. She then mentioned I needed to book at 7:40am, to which I responded that time had already passed. She casually suggested booking for tomorrow. Her communication skills are incredibly poor. She should have simply stated upfront that no appointments were left for today and recommended trying again tomorrow. Instead, she wasted my time and created unnecessary confusion.
