Frustrating reception ruins medical center experience

The medical professionals like doctors and nurses are excellent, but the front desk personnel desperately need improvement in their customer service skills. I attempted to contact them multiple times, getting close to being next in the queue at positions 2 or 3, only to have the line go completely silent with no one picking up. Utterly frustrating and an inefficient use of my time.
