Frustrating registration process wastes valuable time

A straightforward 48-hour registration process drags on for two weeks due to their negligence. The staff handling phone inquiries seem poorly trained, at least in my experience. As someone who rarely sees doctors, perhaps only once or twice every few years, and visits hospitals solely for occasional annual blood tests, booking an appointment becomes an arduous task. A single phone call to schedule can consume more than a day and must be made during specific hours. Despite having paid taxes and National Insurance contributions for nearly five decades and having retired early, I find this level of service unacceptable.
