Frustrating service that fails to meet basic expectations

I'm utterly astounded by the receptionist's lack of compassion and professionalism. They repeatedly instruct patients to call at 8am, yet the phone lines are either unanswered or abruptly cut off. While I understand the NHS is under immense pressure, a touch of understanding and basic communication skills would make a significant difference. Perhaps it's time they revisit customer service training to improve their approach and patient interactions.
