Frustrating service with endless phone wait times

The quality of this establishment has seriously deteriorated lately. They're using covid as a convenient justification for everything. When you call, you're stuck listening to an automated message for nearly two minutes before even entering the queue. The preliminary recording is excessively lengthy and tedious. They should either streamline the introduction or eliminate it entirely. The slow-talking representative makes it challenging for anyone on a break or with limited phone credit to progress. Once you finally get through and attempt to schedule an appointment, they immediately redirect you to book online through patient access. (Which, by the way, hasn't functioned for me since September 2021) I simply want to arrange a doctor's consultation, and it seems my only viable option is to resort to visiting the accident and emergency department to receive any medical attention.
