Frustrating service with occasional glimpse of hope

Quite inconsistent in performance. I was positioned as the third caller during a brief window, only to have the system abruptly terminate the call. Subsequent attempts to reconnect were futile, as the system appeared overwhelmed, inadvertently permitting some individuals to bypass the waiting line. The most frustrating aspect is that this persistent problem has been recognized for an extended period, yet remains unaddressed. Despite these challenges, Dr Mistry's exceptional assistance prevents a completely negative experience, which is why I've allocated two additional stars.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you have been affected by our ongoing issues with our telephone system. This issue has been going on for some time. We are assured that this is being investigated continuously by our IT department and other involved third parties to try to find a solution. This has been escalated as far as possible, and we know that this is affecting several GP surgeries. For patients that report being cut off, we ask that they supply us with the last 4 digits of the telephone number they were using and the time they called or were cut off (please supply via email to [email protected] or direct to one of our reception team). We will then share this information directly with our IT department who will in turn investigate this with other involved third parties. We are doing our utmost to work around this issue by providing alternatives such as booking appointments via online services like the NHS App. We also have an online triage platform called PATCHS which many patients have found useful. Information about these services can be found on our website. Also thank you for the positive feedback regarding Dr Mistry, we will be sure to pass on your comment to him. Kind regards, Junction Surgery
